Say is a farmer and also grow rubber trees , living in Vernthat village, Thapabath district, Borikhamxay province.

Say had an accident during cutting down a trees in the farm, a tree was slide down into his left leg, it cause him serious injured ,so he had to amputated left leg at the hospital in Vientiane on February 28^th, 2017, in order to prevent infection and save life.

Since, he had an accident, he can’t walked, and his wife have to work harder moreover, she also have to took care him as well. As the first he was so sad and hopeless to continue his life, and then Doctor came to see him and encouraged moreover, Doctor also told him about CMR and COPE free Prosthetic device service.

His first time to CMR and COPE on June 16^th, 2017, it was very excited to met other people who are similar to me and they share some experiences about using prosthetic leg. He never knew that a new leg would allow him to walk again and live as without disability.

Say received his first prosthetic leg on  June 16^th, 2017 and  second prosthetic leg on, March 12^th, 2019.

I am  moving freely and can work on my rubber tree farm .”
