WHAT YOU WILL FIND AT COPE VISITOR CENTER
Entry to the Visitor Centre is free. The exhibits cover the history of unexploded ordnance (UXO) in Laos, the way it affects life in the country, how the work of COPE, CMR and others is improving the quality of life for people in Laos with mobility-related disabilities and the stories of how our work has helped people move on.
Donations are always gladly accepted. You can donate at the Visitor Centre or online.
THE CAVE CINEMA
You can watch a range of short documentaries about UXO and COPE in the Cave Cinema, built to resemble one of the underground bunkers used by the Pathet Lao in the war leading up to the revolution in 1975. Ask one of our staff about screening times.
KARMA CAFE
The Karma Cafe is right outside the Visitor Centre and offers fair-trade coffee and our famous ice cream. All proceeds go to supporting the work of COPE.
GIFT SHOP
Our gift shop has a range of great gift ideas available, including postcards. t-shirts, keychains, books, and fair-trade coffee. Buy items as a memento of your trip, as gifts for friends and family back home or even simply to help support us.
Every purchase and donation helps COPE improve access to quality rehabilitation services. This has a profoundly positive, life-changing impact on the lives of people with mobility-related disabilities.
